Here we have an elegant coupe like German four-seat sedan, but this 2012 Volkswagen CC Lux Limited carries a price only $ 35.485. When you look at it this way, the sticker is not that shocking compared to what you need to get a similar model of a German luxury brands. This does not mean that CC is a direct competitor to the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS by any stretch, but for those type of races, VW is a reasonable alternative and much cheaper.
I love the tear but sophisticated 2.0-liter turbo, and the platform has been created for a serious discussion. Put it in a corner, and the car tracks beautifully hand side of the arc to another, even if you add gas to the road. The car is well planted seriously, especially in front of the driver.
Inside, the CC is as stylish as you are going to get without upgrading the luxury cars, four comfortable bucket seats great shots residents. Here everything is nice and the hand, which is an excellent driving position.
$ 35,000 is too VW? Maybe, but not a bad machine of this type is that this is very well done.
EDITOR DIGITAL Andrew Stoy: My favorite cars are the ones to check, I would seriously (and realistically) have to call them. CC is on my radar since it was launched, and I always thought an interesting vehicle inside and out for a reasonable price. After spending a night charged CC Lux Limited, are equally enthusiastic about the car, but I have a better sense of if I choose to cut.
The four turbo gives the sedan a lot of grunt, with its modest output amplified by a torque curve that hides its movement. As for the DSG, I could take it or leave it. Shifts were unusually rapid, but the original clutch great victory can still be annoying at low speeds, and there is an occasional moment of confusion when the throttle is hammered. No provisions sport mode or paddle declined further my enthusiasm, but it was still better than the powershift unit worlds in our latest development of Ford.
Inside, the CC is awesome. The combination of cream and black trim our tester stylish looks and feels comfortable, and the picture is a strong feeling that rivals the best German sedans. To get in and out of the CC was slightly weaker, although, as one might expect the roof coupe. Also note that you are looking for a large parking lot if you use the rear seats. This pinched the back door of the rear edge of a door-ding weapon par excellence.
For technophiles, our CC is a multifunction navigation / Sirius XM Radio for iPod / rivaling the best of them. This is one of the few entertainment and information solutions that worked almost exactly as I expected when I connected my device and system that competes with the Honda / Acura to the intuitive design in my view.
Back to my "personal" CC: If you are currently on the market, I'd save a few thousand and go CC R-Line leather and a six-speed manual. At a price of less than $ 32,000, is more a business than any Audi, the company admitted probable.
Art Director Cheryl L. Blahnik: What impresses me most about this machine is not concerned, or its exterior, but inside. I've always been a fan of Volkswagen interior, but the CC seems to be the perfect car in this segment, in which the color scheme of black labor and vanilla together well.
The outside does not hurt the car if it has a streamlined appearance, providing a sense of movement, without sharp lines. It really comes out as having a very polished look. And the cool thing is that you can not see them everywhere.
The CC does well, but more power would be welcome. I think if you loaded with four adults and the team would be a bit stuck. With just me aboard, was beautiful.
NEWS 'EDITOR GREG Best: I like this 2012 Volkswagen CC Lux Limited. And 'well laid out inside and out, and risk-taking, swoopy design makes it a sort of lounge for the Halo brand.
I am very impressed with the disc, which is curvy and well proportioned, and strikes an elegant pose. The second Audi against Andy. I like the sloped roofline and a magnificent rear lights, front and rear. CC is a voluptuous, and as an accent and be informed of the wheels, will be wearing the jewelry well.
Inside the cabin offers tons of natural light thanks to the great setting, and sunroof. The seats are comfortable, strong and sharp, with stitching and color combinations used in any way distinct.
The motor torque is much lower in the group, and the acceleration is actually quite fast. I think it could use the power of a little more, but since it is a full-bodied sedan, and a turbocharged four-banger is a little too under-the-radar and subtle.
The frame is comfortable and a great car, all the good manners. The steering is very light, and is not exactly a car that wants to be pushed. Fuel economy is impressive, although the requirement of premium fuel grates on me. I put 87 octane in a Ford Mustang GT with twice the power in the morning and 93 octane at four p.m. banger.
However, money is a great product that looks and behaves well. It is also very smart and very swoopy. I give all the credit in the world of VW for taking risks, trying something different to attract both public and style - and I say, taking it all. Sales figures can not be that VW wants, but the car is very strong.
